GWSOT offers Occupational Therapy services to adults with a range of conditions and disabilities
Greater Western Sydney Occupational Therapy (GWSOT) is an occupational therapy (OT) practice covering 13 Local Government Areas in NSW. Our area includes Western Sydney, South West Sydney, North West Sydney, and the Blue Mountains.
GWSOT works in partnership with individuals and their families to achieve a person’s functional goals, and to support emotional wellbeing using an ‘occupational performance’ approach. This takes into consideration all aspects of a person’s life including home, work, school and when participating in social or leisure activities.
NDIS & Occupational Therapy
The National Disability Insurance Scheme provides reasonable and necessary funding to people under 65 with a permanent and significant disability to access the supports and services they need to live and enjoy their life. Occupational Therapy is usually funded in a person’s NDIS Plan under ‘Capacity Building / Improved Daily Living Skills’. At this time GWSOT can only work with NDIS clients who are plan-managed or self-managed.
